Using and Caring for Your Fans
Applying too much pressure when opening and closing your fans may damage them.
Open and Close them Slowly-unless you are a Flamenco Dancer!
No matter how tempted you may be, do not hit people with them.
When carrying a fan in your purse, keep it in a fan case or a separate compartment within your purse. This will help prevent it from being scratched or crushed by items like keys, wallets or power tools.
Cleaning Your Fans
A light dusting to the leaf with a soft brush or gently wipe the ribs with a soft, dry cloth. Never water-not even a damp cloth.
Storing Your Fans When Not In Use
Treat them as you would any delicate fashion accessory, such as sunglasses. Perhaps you’ll keep them in a box or drawer. When stored for long periods, keep your fans away from sources of light, heat and excessive humidity.
Enjoy your fans! –Deidre
